#3: Hawaiian pizza
honorable mention: vegetarian Greek sandwiches
Happy New Year!

what creative recipes you have–the dumplings look especially fun:-) And pretzel pancakes? Great idea!
Thank you! The dumplings were so easy to make, and we really enjoyed the results. I sort of ate all of the pancakes before anyone asked me to share… Oops?
I love the pictures!! And I am VERY intrigued by the bell pepper bread đ
Thank you! I couldn’t believe how well that bread turned out. I had it (and nothing else) for dinner two nights in a row! I justified it by saying there were 3 whole peppers inside, aka my serving of veggies for the evening. :]
The blueberry scones look fantastic – I’ve always wanted to try baking them but have been intimidated. Your recipe looks great, though, I’ll have to give it a try!

These are so easy — just mix, shape and bake! I’ve also done them as individual rounds instead of wedges, and I may slightly prefer those. Not sure though because they’re both so good!
I was under the impression that there was a specific pan needed for making scones – proof of how little I know! I guess I don’t have an excuse not to make them anymore, haha!
They actually DO have special pans shaped so that you make perfect scone triangles! I figure they’re similar to those specialized brownie pans, where they’re “nice to have” items. I don’t mind if my scones and brownies are a little misshapen from my uneven cuts… It gives them character! ;]
Love your photography! I really need to work on that this year đ
Thank you! It just takes a little time, a little patience, and a LOT of practice. I usually take 50-100 shots of every dish and end up loving about 6 of them. But it’s well worth the effort!
