When I recently stopped by my “second mommy’s” house to drop off a batch of these muffins, she surprised me with a small gift: a magazine printed by my favorite Major League Baseball team and a tiny Lego-style figurine of my favorite player. While flipping through the glossy pages back at home, slowly reading its lengthy featured article on that same player with the itty bitty toy’s box by my side, I felt so grateful that my friend went out of her way to do something sweet for me. Although it probably sounds fairly insignificant (especially to any non-baseball fans!), that small act of kindness meant the world to me.
And I feel even more fortunate that you do the same thing for me here on Amy’s Healthy Baking every single day.
Yes, you!
When you click on a recipe on my blog and print it out to try… When you save that recipe on Facebook and Pinterest too… When you share the treats you made with your family and friends… When you give them the link so they can make the recipe themselves… When you snap a picture of the treats you made and share it with me on Instagram… When you leave a comment on my blog telling me what you thought of the treats too…
Although they sound somewhat trivial and inconsequential, all of those little actions add up, and they’re what have enabled me to turn Amy’s Healthy Baking into my full-time job. I am truly grateful and so appreciative of what you’ve done for me.
So to say thank you, I’m putting the spotlight back on you today! Here are some of the recipes that you’ve baked and pictures that you’ve shared on Instagram. I feel truly blessed each and every time you do that; it really means the world to me. ♥
If you’re interested in starting a blog of your own, I have a guide here on how you can start a blog in just 30 minutes (or less)!
I can’t wait to see what you try next! ♥
Would you like to see your picture in my next Sunday Spotlight? Then share it with me on Instagram using #amyshealthybaking and tag @amyshealthybaking IN the photo itself. (That guarantees that I’ll see the notification from you! ?) I can’t wait to see what recipes you make!
