I think this especially rings true during the holiday season when we’re surrounded by the hustle and the bustle and so many different tempting options to choose from. We often start from a place of good intentions… But then end up in a not-so-positive place by focusing on the “nots,” on the outcomes we don’t want.
I shouldn’t have that third Christmas cookie… I shouldn’t decline Aunt Molly’s holiday party invitation… I shouldn’t sleep in and skip the gym… I shouldn’t make fudge because I’ll eat it all…
What if we let go of the shoulds and shouldn’ts? What if we let go of micromanaging every minute of the day, every detail of our holiday plans, every bite of food we eat, every ribbon and bow and garland and wreath?
What if we simply let life unfold… And focused on the things that brought us joy instead?
That’s what I’m choosing to do this holiday season… And one of the biggest things that brings me joy is you!
My heart glows every time you try one of my recipes and share my website with your family and friends… Every time you leave me kind comments and post pictures of your treats on Facebook and Instagram for me to see… Those little actions make me so happy, and they’ve also enabled me to turn Amy’s Healthy Baking into my full-time job. I’m incredibly grateful for that!
So to say thank you, I’m putting the spotlight back on you today! Here are some of the recipes that you’ve tried and pictures that you’ve shared on Instagram. I truly appreciate each and every time you do that; it really means the world to me! ♡
And if you’re interested in starting a blog too, I have a super easy step-by-step guide on how you can start your own blog here. It takes less than 30 minutes!
Psst… Would you like to see your picture in my next Sunday Spotlight? Then share it with me on Instagram using #amyshealthybaking and tag @amyshealthybaking IN the photo itself. (That guarantees I’ll see your picture! ?) I can’t wait to see what recipes you make!
I can’t wait to see what you try next! ♡

Adore your website! Thank you for putting Christmas goodies back in my diet/lifestyle plan!
Merrrrry Christmas!!!
Thank you so much for your kind words Anne! That means a lot to me! 🙂 Merry Christmas and happy New Year to you, too!
Love many of your recipes. Just one request. I have very bad eyesight and have trouble reading the print in pink. Wish you would make it darker. Thanks!
Thank you so much for your kind words about my recipes, Diana! I appreciate your feedback too — I’ll keep that in mind when I next speak with my developer. 🙂 I can’t wait to hear which recipe of mine you try next!
