My family fell behind on a lot of our holidays this year. We scheduled our Mother’s and Father’s Day Brunches a week late, and my dad finally blew out the candles on his favorite cheesecake two weeks after we sang “Happy Birthday” to him on the phone! We even contemplated celebrating Thanksgiving the day (or maybe a month) after, just to continue with this year’s delayed holiday tradition.
If you procrastinated on planning your Thanksgiving menu, you don’t need to delay your dinner for a day like us! These healthy, low fat recipes require minimal prep, common ingredients, and can be made Thursday morning (or even afternoon!). They’re my 16 Best Last-Minute Thanksgiving Dishes for a reason!

Hi, I am unable to find a usable link for the buttermilk pie. When I click on it, nothing happens. I went into your search and thought I might get a different link for the buttermilk pie, but no such luck. Would you be kind enough to send me the recipe? Thank you.

The buttermilk pie I included in the Sunday Funday #7 post was a gift from a friend. Since I didn’t make it, I don’t currently have a recipe for it. But it’s something I’d like to recreate and publish on my blog in the near future!

Thank you Brittany! I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving with your loved ones too. I remember you baked a tofu pumpkin pie last year; was it on the menu again this year? 🙂
