Today, I’m really excited to launch a new video series on Amy’s Healthy Baking called Two Minute Mondays! In these short clips, I’ll answer any questions you might have about me or stuff that happens behind the scenes of a food blog.
Then submit your questions here (including any of the ones above that you’re dying to hear about!), and I’ll try to answer them in future videos!
To kick off Two Minute Mondays, I took the time to share a few tidbits about what life is like with a full-time job as a food blogger. Thank you to Marcia, Mindy, Michelle, and Andrea for their questions!
Did you think of something you’d like to ask? Then submit your questions here! Don’t be shy; you can submit as many as you’d like!
Thanks for watching this first episode in my Two Minute Mondays video series, and I’ll see you next week to share a few fun facts about myself!

Such a fun video series! My question = Are there any baked good types that you haven’t tried making yet? i.e. – a specific type of dish (savory or sweet) or even just a certain ingredient you haven’t baked with yet, but want to?
Thank you so much for watching the video and submitting a question Liz!
How long have you been doing this? What motivated you to be this involved in your passion?
Thank you for watching and for your questions Marlene!
This is great! You’re super cute! I found the questions featured really interesting and useful as someone who is looking to start her own blog, and also just for curiosity’s sake!
Thank you so much for your sweet words and watching the video Emma! I’m really touched, and I wish you the best of luck in starting your blog!
OH my gosh, you are the cutest, Amy!! This is great. Love the background music! You’re like Ina Garten! 😉 Thanks for answering my question! Funny story- as I was woken up earlier than my liking on my day off by my cat, I was lying in bed thinking about making those frosting-topped brownies later today… now I have to! 😉
Thank you SO much, sweet friend!! You’re the most kind friend I could’ve ever asked for. 🙂 And I’m really glad you enjoyed the brownies! Those heart shapes are seriously cute. We need to collaborate on a post for the blog sometime, especially if your and your hubby’s tentative plans fall into place!
You are darling, Amy! This is such a fun series. I can’t wait to see more!! 😀
Thank you so much Jen; you’re too sweet! 🙂
AMY!! What a fun series, I’m so excited to get to see your face every Monday!!! You are just too cute, I LOVE this idea!!
Thank you so much Karen!! You’re just the sweetest. Now if only I could see YOUR face (in person!) once a week, it’d be the best thing ever!
OMGGG I LOVE THIS!! What a great idea, and showing more of yourself on the blog is great!
Thank you so much Brittany!! Your friendship and support means the world to me!
When transposing from ap flour to a rice based mix, is there any rule of thumb for decreasing the volume of gluten free flour? I have tried to start with approximately 1/3 less but find this to still be too much for the fluids available.
Thank you for watching and your questions Johanne!
Hi Amy! Two Minute Mondays are a lovely idea!! =) I’ll jump right in: did you bake anything really memorable growing up that you still love today?
Thank you so much for your sweet words and question Michelle!
I’ve been commenting on your FB page recently. So why not here too!? I found your page thru some other “healthy” pages and have enjoyed that you offer healthier recipes. I myself used to have a food blog about 6 yrs ago, but I had to let it go due to uncontrollable circumstances. I still love to cook and bake, it’s my passion. I still do it to this day. Especially clean, healthy eating. But my question to you is, “Do you make enough money from your blog to survive or to justify all the hard work you put into it?” I’m considering bringing back my blog and would love to do it to where I could sustain myself financially without having to work outside of my home.
Thank you so much for all of your comments on Facebook and here on the blog Julie! I appreciate your question, and I really hope you’re able to start blogging again sometime soon!
