In second grade, my teacher assigned a Leprechaun Trap as our St. Patrick’s Day project. During the week leading up to the holiday, my parents and I tinkered with a cardboard shoe box, green construction paper, tacky glue, and lots of gold beads. I wanted to earn a good grade on the assignment, but I also hoped to catch a leprechaun and bring my family good luck!
To help you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this year (and hopefully bring you that luck I was looking for!), some of my food blog friends and I have teamed up to host this Luck of the Irish Giveaway. That’s right—we’re giving away a Keurig Elite Brewer and $100 PayPal Cash!

Without a doubt – BROWNIES!!!
This is a really hard question … I answered this question on another page as follows … If you asked me my favorite cake I would say I love Carrot Cake … Ina Garten on Food Network has a great recipe. I was given a really great vegan recipe a few years ago that is just as moist an flavorful … but you did not ask about cake … I guess my favorite dessert would be Mocha Cheesecake but I also love a good comforting peach or peach and blueberry cobbler … I love peaches!
That may have been a bad thing to do…more blogs and recipes!!! Yum, yum!!
My favorite dessert is peanut butter brownies with vanilla ice cream!
I would love to say cheesecake, but since I have lost 55 lbs and exercise regularly, I would have to say that fruit is my favorite desert! Thank you!
Congratulations Kathleen — that’s quite an accomplishment! Good for you!! 🙂
Does catching a leprechaun also come with all of his gold?? My favorite dessert changes daily, but right now I’m craving mochi!
I WISH it did Sarah! I could use a little extra gold… 😉
i love dessert
Peanut butter chocolate trifle with Reese’s cups!
My favorite dessert is Christmas cookies, any and all kinds, piled high on huge platters.
my favorite dessert is still my mom’s raspberry angel food torte!
