Although my mom rarely baked while I was growing up, we could usually count on at least one batch of homemade chocolate chip cookies and two rounds of banana muffins every month. The cookies appeared in our lunchboxes at school, and we devoured the muffins as both breakfasts and afternoon snacks. Neither baked treat ever lasted long!
The baking gene must have skipped a generation because I pull out my mixing bowls to make treats (normally twice!) practically every singe day… But like my mom, cookies and muffins are two of my favorite things to bake and eat.

I am so excited for your new cookbook! I have so many allergies that I find I can use a lot of your recipes which are about the only one that I’ve been able to actually making and eat and not feel like I am being deprived of a lot of food. I just recently found out about all these allergies three months ago and I have gone to completely clean eating and have had a lot of fun with your recipes! Can not wait to try some muffins. The only grain I can eat is wheat, how strange I am opposit of everyone, as I can have gluten. So glad you use a lot if wheat in your baking, it is a life saver.

If you’re on a mobile device, clicking on the picture doesn’t always work. The links are included beneath the photo as well, so those should work regardless of what device you’re on Julie!

Hi! I still haven’t looked over your recipes but I wanted to let you know that for some reason scrolling is disabled on your website. People that aren’t technologically inclined may not be able to figure out a way around it, so you might want to fix that! These recipes look great! Thank you for posting!
Amy says...
Thanks for your kind words Britt! I actually haven’t heard any readers experience that issue before. Would you mind describing the device/computer you were using and what exactly happened when you tried to scroll? Thank you! 🙂

I can’t wait to try them all! ww strawberry chocolate chip and the chocolate truffle pumpkin ones look like where I will start. I love chocolate though I’m sure that was obvious from my choices. Thank you for sharing these. My husband and I are trying to eat healthier and these look like they will be winners. I’ll let you know which one was our favorite.

I’m a chocolate lover too! 🙂 I can’t wait to hear what you think of the muffin recipes that you try!
Lu says...
Hi! Do you think this recipe would work with whole spelt flour?
Amy says...
Which recipe are you referring to Lu?
Lu says...
Oh! Sorry, I meant the chai latte muffins, but actually my question applies for any recipe that calls for whole wheat flour.
Amy says...
I haven’t worked much with spelt flour, so I can’t guarantee the results. I hope you enjoy the chai latte muffins if you try them Lu!
Megan says...
I used whole wheat oat flour and they turned out great!
Amy says...
I’m so glad you enjoyed the muffins Megan!
Karen says...
OOOOOOH, I just want to make them all at the same time right now! 😮
They look all so good, how do you do that? 😉
I’m just gonna start with the ones I’ve got the ingredients for, but the rest will come later because I’ve got two weeks of eastern holidays starting today! Well in fact it’s not really a holiday when you’re supposed to study for your finals in May and June, but baking these will be a good studybreak I guess.
Thanks Amy for sharing these!
And have you got any ideas to make for this weekend? (eastern)
Thanks again!
Amy says...
That’s the best kind of compliment Karen — thank you! I definitely baked as my study breaks during college too. 🙂 I’m excited to hear what you think of the muffins that you try!
Agathe says...
really excellent – I made the maple mixed berry muffins and the only sub I did was whole wheat flour. First time my muffins turned out like store bought. And healthy to boo.thank you!

I’m so glad you enjoyed the muffins Agathe! That means a lot to me that you think they turned out like store-bought ones — thank you for sharing that with me! 🙂
