Many of you have written me over the past few weeks to ask if I plan on writing a cookbook. The answer is yes—and it’s almost here!
The Healthier Chocolate Treats cookbook will be published next month, just a few short weeks away! It will be sold on Amazon, and I’ll let you know as soon as it’s available for purchasing.
This cookbook is perfect for any and all chocolate lovers. Whether you enjoy chocolate occasionally or every single day (that’d be me!), there are plenty of goodies inside for you.
Healthier Chocolate Treats contains 50+ brand new recipes. These recipes have never been seen before or appeared on my blog. You won’t find them anywhere else!
And yes—every single one contains some form of chocolate. Whether you prefer milk, dark or white, there are lots of treats inside for you!
Here’s a little sneak peek of what’s inside…
In addition to those treats above, there are more recipes for…
›› Cookies
›› Cakes
›› Muffins
›› Scones
›› Brownies
›› Truffles
›› Smoothies
›› Cheesecakes
… and more!
What’s Included?
As a cookbook collector, I usually thumb through a few titles more often than the rest because of their particular qualities, which I made sure to include in my cookbook for you too.
›› Easy recipes. You don’t need any special equipment or training to make the recipes in this cookbook! They’re all straightforward, uncomplicated treats that anyone—experienced and novice bakers alike—can make. And just in case, I include detailed instructions for each recipe too!
›› Photos. One of my biggest pet peeves is a cookbook without photos. I want to see what the cookies and coffee cakes will look like before I start! So every recipe in my cookbook has a full-color photo to go along with it.
›› Metric measurements. With my background in chemistry, I actually prefer working with a kitchen scale instead of measuring cups. (Strange but true!) I find the scale is much more accurate. Plus I know not all of you live in the US! So every recipe comes with both cup and gram measurements.
›› Nutritional Information. I include it for all of the recipes here on the blog, so every recipe in the cookbook comes with the Nutritional Info as well. And just like the treats I post here, all of the ones in the cookbook are skinny, lightened-up versions that still taste just as delicious!
›› Dietary labels. Every recipe in this cookbook is low fat and low calorie, but I include more than just that! For those of you with particular dietary concerns or preferences, every recipe includes any applicable labels: gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, clean eating, paleo, and high protein.
And now for the really exciting news… I’m giving away three signed copies of the Healthier Chocolate Treats cookbook! To enter, just follow the instructions on the Rafflecopter box below. When I get my copy of your new cookbook I’m going to share my baked goodies with all my family and friends. However I’m most excited to have the cookbook for me and my fiance. We are both huge chocoholics and I’m super excited to test out each recipe in your cookbook – I already pin every recipe you send out in your newsletters :D!
I would share with my husband and three kids!
I would love to try these healthier options on my family. They think every dinner needs to end with something sweet. Healthier sweets would be better for all of us.
I’d share them with my coworkers
My chocolate loving husband! And I’d LOVE some!
I would share the recipes with my family! I’m the baker in my family of six. We all have a sweet tooth, but we all try to eat healthy most of the time, so this book would be awesome!!
Its funny, I actually don’t like chocolate! I love making chocolate goodies and sharing them with my family and friends though. My friends love Christmastime when I make chocolate candies!
I’ve loved all the chocolate recipes I’ve made from the blog so far! Ok I’ve made ONLY chocolate recipes from the blog so far 😛 So this book sounds like my dream come true! Can’t wait!
Love your recipes! I share with my sister and mother in law…the recipes not my chocolate 😉
Wow Amy, I am so proud of you, well done! I can’t wait to own your cook book, all of the recipes you have showed us look amazing. Even though I don’t like eating plain chocolate from a bar, I love all things chocolate wise in desserts and baking!
