Many of you have written me over the past few weeks to ask if I plan on writing a cookbook. The answer is yes—and it’s almost here!
The Healthier Chocolate Treats cookbook will be published next month, just a few short weeks away! It will be sold on Amazon, and I’ll let you know as soon as it’s available for purchasing.
This cookbook is perfect for any and all chocolate lovers. Whether you enjoy chocolate occasionally or every single day (that’d be me!), there are plenty of goodies inside for you.
Healthier Chocolate Treats contains 50+ brand new recipes. These recipes have never been seen before or appeared on my blog. You won’t find them anywhere else!
And yes—every single one contains some form of chocolate. Whether you prefer milk, dark or white, there are lots of treats inside for you!
Here’s a little sneak peek of what’s inside…
In addition to those treats above, there are more recipes for…
›› Cookies
›› Cakes
›› Muffins
›› Scones
›› Brownies
›› Truffles
›› Smoothies
›› Cheesecakes
… and more!
What’s Included?
As a cookbook collector, I usually thumb through a few titles more often than the rest because of their particular qualities, which I made sure to include in my cookbook for you too.
›› Easy recipes. You don’t need any special equipment or training to make the recipes in this cookbook! They’re all straightforward, uncomplicated treats that anyone—experienced and novice bakers alike—can make. And just in case, I include detailed instructions for each recipe too!
›› Photos. One of my biggest pet peeves is a cookbook without photos. I want to see what the cookies and coffee cakes will look like before I start! So every recipe in my cookbook has a full-color photo to go along with it.
›› Metric measurements. With my background in chemistry, I actually prefer working with a kitchen scale instead of measuring cups. (Strange but true!) I find the scale is much more accurate. Plus I know not all of you live in the US! So every recipe comes with both cup and gram measurements.
›› Nutritional Information. I include it for all of the recipes here on the blog, so every recipe in the cookbook comes with the Nutritional Info as well. And just like the treats I post here, all of the ones in the cookbook are skinny, lightened-up versions that still taste just as delicious!
›› Dietary labels. Every recipe in this cookbook is low fat and low calorie, but I include more than just that! For those of you with particular dietary concerns or preferences, every recipe includes any applicable labels: gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, clean eating, paleo, and high protein.
And now for the really exciting news… I’m giving away three signed copies of the Healthier Chocolate Treats cookbook! To enter, just follow the instructions on the Rafflecopter box below. It sometimes takes a few minutes to load, so be patient! (If you’re reading this in an email, click on the link below to enter.) Obviously I would share them with my husband (he would probably be upset if I didn’t!), but I also enjoy bringing in treats for my coworkers.
Amy! Thank you for this opportunity – in my few years of healthy eating research, yours are literally the most successful, and delicious (healthy too!?) recipes I have ever come across. They are also my favorite! You do us too much by making them free too! I have a huge family which calls for 20+ birthdays yearly and by the 5th one I am sick of the unhealthy chocolate cake we usually by. We want to enjoy desserts but healthy ones. And being that I am their nominated baker, I’d love to make these healthy chocolate recipes for them! My mom would especially enjoy them, seeing that we’d both like to eat healthier 🙂 God bless you, Amy! And once again, thanks for your healthy baking!
I would share with my husband, my SIL, and my neighbors!
Thank you for your honesty with your blog and for giving the healthy recipe and substitutions for items we might not have on the shelf. Looking forward to even more recipes to try. :>)
I would share these chocolate treats with my hubby…we both love anything chocolaty! Thank you!
I love your recipes and can’t wait for the cookbook!
I would share with neighbors and friends. Looks so delicious.
Love chocolate! Excited to see the new cookbook dedicated to a healthier take on it. I would definitely share my treats with my family – some of them with diabetes but all have a sweet tooth!
How exciting! can’t wait to see it!
First of all, I hate when cookbooks do not include pictures too! In fact, I rarely buy them anymore if they don’t include quite a few food photos! Also, I would share my chocolate treats with my husband and my coworkers! Which is best anyway because I would eat them all myself 🙂
