When we lived in my first childhood house, the family next door included a daughter five years older than me, and once I reached kindergarten, she occasionally came over on weekend evenings to play with me while my parents went out to dinner. She was extremely nice, really pretty, and always brought the best toys!
Because I completely adored and looked up to her, I sometimes picked bouquets of flowers from our backyard plants to leave as a surprise on her front porch or in their mailbox. The following day, she would stop by to say thank you, which resulted in me wanting to surprise her with another set of flowers… Until Mom put a limit on how many I could pick from the backyard!
And now, it feels like YOU are the one leaving sweet surprises for me! Not quite in the form of flowers… But in the form of kind comments on my blog and Facebook, by purchasing my cookbook, and through sharing the pictures of my recipes that you’ve made with me on Instagram. Those thoughtful gestures always brighten my day and put a smile on my face, and they’ve enabled me to turn Amy’s Healthy Baking into my full-time job. I’m so grateful for you and what you’ve done!
So to say thank you, I’m putting the spotlight back on you today! Here are some of the recipes that you’ve tried and pictures that you’ve shared on Instagram. I truly appreciate each and every time you do that; it really means the world to me! ♥
And if you’re interested in starting a blog too, I have a super easy step-by-step guide on how you can start your own blog here. It takes less than 30 minutes!
Psst… Would you like to see your picture in my next Sunday Spotlight? Then share it with me on Instagram using #amyshealthybaking and tag @amyshealthybaking IN the photo itself. (That guarantees I’ll see your picture! ?) I can’t wait to see what recipes you make!
I can’t wait to see what you try next! ♥

So many delicious recipes this week and what a lovely story you shared with us. I agree with your mother you needed to limit your flower cutting. But knowing what a thoughtful girl you are I understood what you were doing. Take care and have a fun week xoxo

Thank you so much Beverley! I’m glad she put a limit on my flower cutting… Now that I’m older, I’d rather have bushes that bloom for months rather than a bouquet that only lasts for a few days! 😉 I hope you have a wonderful week as well!
