One day last week, Grandma and I met up for a mid-afternoon coffee date. While we sipped our refreshing iced drinks, Grandma asked about my blog, and I shared a few projects I’m currently working on (like these recipes videos—have you watched any of them yet?), as well as some long-term goals. Grandma actually voiced some ideas of her own that will make my plans even better!
I’m truly grateful for the flexibility that comes from having Amy’s Healthy Baking as my full-time job. To make spur-of-the-moment plans on a weekday to meet Grandma for coffee… To spend ample time with my loved ones… That’s not something that always comes with a regular 9 to 5 job.
And YOU helped me turn Amy’s Healthy Baking into my full-time job! By browsing through my recipes and sending links to your family and friends… By trying my recipes and sharing the treats with your neighbors and coworkers… By leaving me sweet comments here on my blog, telling me how much you loved the recipes…
All of those little actions add up and enabled me to quit my previous job to blog full-time. I’m incredibly grateful for that!
