In second grade, my teacher periodically performed really basic âscience experimentsâ during class. She demonstrated how oil and water refuse to mix, how melted ice takes up the same amount of space as an ice cube, and how helium is lighter than the air we breathe by blowing up colorful balloons and comparing them to store-bought shiny âHappy Birthday!â ones.
One of her demonstrations involved turning peanuts into peanut butter with her blender. Once the blades stopped whirring around, she passed out crackers and plastic spoons, and she allowed each of us to scrape a little taste from the container.
Even as a huge peanut butter lover, I only nibbled on my peanut butter cracker⌠The version she made in class tasted coarse and grainyânothing like the creamy Skippy that Mom bought for my brother and me!
With that mediocre experience, I waited until after college when I bought my incredible, super trusty blender to finally try making homemade peanut butter again. Less than 5 minutes later (yes, I timed it!), I pulled off the lid and found the smoothest, silkiest, creamiest peanut butter that Iâve ever eatenâand it tasted so much better than store-bought, especially without any added sugar or other ingredients like in big brandsâ jars!
So today, Iâm sharing a quick video tutorial with you about how to make my favorite Easy Blender Peanut Butter! You can get the recipe right below the video, along with tips to ensure your PB turns out perfectly smooth and creamy!
Hint: I highly recommend my blender! Compared to other high-powered brands, itâs incredibly affordable. I use it every day, and 2+ years later, it still works just as well as the day I bought it!
Can I use almonds and make almond butter???
Yes! I actually have a similar almond butter recipe here. đ I’d love to hear what you think if you try it Terry!
I use honey roasted peanuts, no added anything, it is soooo good. I love homemade peanut butter, and it’s fun to make too.
I’m so glad you enjoyed this homemade peanut butter Collette! đ
