When I eventually sorted through my tornado of thoughts and emotions and decided to leave graduate school to blog full-time, I felt a mixture of nervousness and excitement. I was leaving behind the promise of a successful career and substantial paycheck in the organic chemistry and pharmaceutical world⌠To step into the unknown.
At that time, Amyâs Healthy Baking hadnât brought in a single penny. It was still a side hobby, something I started in my spare time to get me out of my baking rut and try new things.
I didnât know why full-time blogging felt like the right thing to do⌠But I knew it felt like something I couldnât not do.
So I took the first step. I left chemistry. I turned to baking.
Now, just a few years later⌠Iâve published a cookbook, appeared on live TV, traveled around the country, hired a team (hi ladies!), and even bought a house with the income Iâve earned from Amyâs Healthy Baking.
And Iâm incredibly grateful for the role youâve played in that! Your support for my recipes, how youâve made them and shared your pictures with me on Instagram, how you gave the links to my recipes to your family and friends, how youâve simply browsed around my blog and read all of my storiesâŚ
Those small actions all add up and have allowed me to keep blogging as my full-time job.
So to say thank you, Iâm putting the spotlight back on you today! Here are some of the recipes that youâve tried and pictures that youâve shared on Instagram. I truly appreciate each and every time you do that; it really means the world to me! âĄ
And if youâre interested in starting a blog too, I have a super easy step-by-step guide on how you can start your own blog here. It takes less than 30 minutes!
Psst⌠Would you like to see your picture in my next Sunday Spotlight? Then share it with me on Instagram using #amyshealthybaking and tag @amyshealthybaking IN the photo itself. (That guarantees Iâll see your picture! ?) I canât wait to see what recipes you make!
I canât wait to see what you try next! âĄ
