In second grade, my teacher handed a worksheet out to our class towards the beginning of the year, which included a fill-in-the-blank question asking what we wanted to be when we grew up. With the absolute certainty of a seven-year-old, I scribbled down “a grocery store cashier.”
At that young age, the checkout process fascinated me. The cashiers deftly whisked each item across the glass in front of where they stood, causing the machine to beep happily. Swipe—beep! Swipe—beep! Swipe—beep! It looked like magic to my seven-year-old eyes!
As I grew older, my ideal occupation changed. A flight stewardess, a photographer, a baseball announcer, a baker, a dietitian, an organic chemist…
But now, I truly feel like I’ve landed my dream career… Of working at Amy’s Healthy Baking! It’s my full-time job and full income source, and I’m so grateful for that—especially because you helped make that possible! Just by browsing through my recipes, purchasing my cookbook, making my recipes at home in your own kitchen, and sharing the treats with your family and friends.
So to say thank you, I’m putting the spotlight back on you today! Here are some of the recipes that you’ve tried and pictures that you’ve shared on Instagram. I truly appreciate each and every time you do that; it really means the world to me! ♡
And if you’re interested in starting a blog too, I have a super easy step-by-step guide on how you can start your own blog here. It takes less than 30 minutes!
Psst… Would you like to see your picture in my next Sunday Spotlight? Then share it with me on Instagram using #amyshealthybaking and tag @amyshealthybaking IN the photo itself. (That guarantees I’ll see your picture! ?) I can’t wait to see what recipes you make!
I can’t wait to see what you try next! ♡
