On this weekend a year ago, I sat around an oversized kitchen island in a beachfront mansion on Muskegon Lake, laughing with Liz and Raul, Andie and Dara, Jennifer and Trevor. We reminisced about our past four days in Michigan, full of good food, learning experiences, and new friends.
Liz had planned the event, with the help of two other bloggers, and called it the Fresh Coast Retreat (← you can see all of my photos from the trip there!). Yes, a retreat exclusively for food bloggers! It was even an all-expenses-paid trip, thanks to our generous sponsors of Bob’s Red Mill, Sabra, Stonyfield, and Experience Grand Rapids.
