Sunday Spotlight

 
On this weekend a year ago, I sat around an oversized kitchen island in a beachfront mansion on Muskegon Lake, laughing with Liz and Raul, Andie and Dara, Jennifer and Trevor. We reminisced about our past four days in Michigan, full of good food, learning experiences, and new friends.  

Liz had planned the event, with the help of two other bloggers, and called it the Fresh Coast Retreat (← you can see all of my photos from the trip there!). Yes, a retreat exclusively for food bloggers! It was even an all-expenses-paid trip, thanks to our generous sponsors of Bob’s Red Mill, Sabra, Stonyfield, and Experience Grand Rapids.

And I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to go if it weren’t for you. Yes, YOU! ♥

You’ve enabled me to turn Amy’s Healthy Baking into my full-time job and income source through your interest in my recipes, through sharing the links to those recipes with your family and friends, through saving those links on Facebook and Pinterest, and through making those recipes and posting pictures of your creations on Instagram.

All of those actions afforded me the opportunity to connect with those amazing bloggers and receive an invitation to that memorable retreat, and I’m truly grateful for the role you played in that!
