Some dreams are buried deep, while others bubble just below the surface, always at the forefront of our minds. Whether thoroughly thought out or completely subconscious, that initial decision to take the first step towards turning a dream into reality is one of the most important things we can do.
What dreams do you have? A European vacation? Buying a house? Going back to school? Getting married? Becoming a mommy? Getting promoted at work? Writing a book? Joining a gym? Losing weight?
Are you ready to make that decision? Are you ready to simply try taking the first step… And see what happens?
In high school, I dreamed of baking as my job. Although I envisioned working in a brick-and-mortar bakery back then, that dream stuck with me throughout college, gathering dust in the back of my head, while I tried a different path called Organic Chemistry and the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Shortly after I started graduate school, my old bakery dream began to make its way towards the front of my mind, tugging on my heartstrings every chance it got. Eventually, I made the decision to take the first step in chasing that dream…
Not long after, Amy’s Healthy Baking became my full-time job. Thanks to you, it’s also been my full income source—just from your interest in my recipes and my cookbook, how you scroll through my blog posts to read my stories and admire the photos, and how you try my recipes and share the links to them with your family and friends. I’m incredibly grateful for what you’ve done for me!
So to say thank you, I’m putting the spotlight back on you today! Here are some of the recipes that you’ve tried and pictures that you’ve shared on Instagram. I truly appreciate each and every time you do that; it really means the world to me! ♡
And if you’re interested in starting a blog too, I have a super easy step-by-step guide on how you can start your own blog here. It takes less than 30 minutes!
Psst… Would you like to see your picture in my next Sunday Spotlight? Then share it with me on Instagram using #amyshealthybaking and tag @amyshealthybaking IN the photo itself. (That guarantees I’ll see your picture! ?) I can’t wait to see what recipes you make!
I can’t wait to see what you try next! ♡

There is a picture of what looks like pancakes with apples on top. Under it it says apple thumbprint cookies.

The full caption says that it’s the filling from my apple pie thumbprint cookies! So the apples are my recipe — not the pancakes. 🙂
