Sunday Spotlight

 
This past week, my parents hosted a casual dinner party for a few of Dad’s friends from work. One of the ladies had stopped by a few months prior and remembered that I had given her a bag of gourmet chocolates before she drove home, so as she pulled on her coat after last week’s dinner party, she asked if I had any left with a twinkle in her eye.  

I grabbed a big cardboard box from the corner of my parents’ dining room, hoisted it up to the kitchen counter, and began pouring the gourmet chocolates into the oversized wooden bowl she planned to take home.

Another man’s eyes turned as big as saucers, and he asked, “Where did you get all of those??” My mom laughed and explained that the Lindt chocolate company sent me 16 pounds of Lindor truffles because they helped sponsor the Michigan retreat for food bloggers I attended last year.

And you helped make that possible!

Through browsing around the recipes on my blog… Through giving the links to them to your family and friends… Through sharing those same links on Facebook and saving them on Pinterest… Through making my recipes and posting your pictures on Instagram…

Through doing all those things, you’ve enabled me to turn Amy’s Healthy Baking into my full-time job, which allowed me to quit my previous job, publish a cookbook, go on live TV (twice!), and travel to Michigan, Minnesota, Carmel, and Chicago.

I’m incredibly grateful for what you’ve done for me!

So to say thank you, I’m putting the spotlight back on you today! Here are some of the recipes that you’ve tried and pictures that you’ve shared on Instagram. I truly appreciate each and every time you do that; it really means the world to me! ♥
