This past week, I stopped by the local high school to visit one of my closest friends who handles the attendance, absences, and passes for all of the students. After I handed her a package of my healthy pumpkin cinnamon rolls, we chatted for a few minutes during the quiet afternoon lull in the office.
Towards the end of our conversation, she shared some news about her middle son, who just started his own business, and how he recently updated his product launch date after experiencing a few major setbacks. “I didn’t realize the business would be this much of a roller coaster…” she revealed.
I smiled and tried to reassure her, “In the beginning, it definitely can feel like a wild ride, but as time goes on, there will be far more highs than lows. That’s how it’s been for me!”
And I have YOU to thank for that!
Yes, you! You bring me so much joy every time you leave me a sweet comment here or on Facebook, every time you share my blog with your family and friends, every time you save one of my treats on Pinterest, and every time you try one of my recipes and post a picture of it on Instagram.
My heart melts and I feel incredibly blessed when you do those things because although they sound small, they’re exactly what have enabled me to turn Amy’s Healthy Baking into my full-time job. It’s a dream come true for me!
So to say thank you, I’m putting the spotlight back on you today! Here are some of the recipes that you’ve tried and pictures that you’ve shared on Instagram. I truly appreciate each and every time you do that; it really means the world to me! ♥

Thank you Amy for featuring me as part of your Sunday Spotlight. You know how much I love your healthy recipes and I shared this recipe on my FB page and also on my somethingaboutcupcakes page. I feel like we are old friends now and keeping in contact with with your high school friends is so important. I’m so much older than you and I still have a lot contact with friends from HS from 1979! They are all yummy bakes above, well done everyone xoxo
You’re so sweet Beverley — that truly means a lot to me that you’d share my recipe in so many places! I feel like we’re old friends as well, especially with how kind you are and how much you love to bake. Age doesn’t matter when two people’s souls can connect in friendship! 🙂 And that’s absolutely wonderful that you’re still in touch with friends from high school too!
Amy, thank you so much for the spotlight. I am such a huge fan of all your recipes. You take the guess work out of “what should I make”, easy peasy, just grab anyone of your recipes, and your guaranteed a winner. I am on a pumpkin craze at the moment, and today it’s not 1 but 2 batches of clean pumpkin cinnamon rolls.. oh and scones, and muffins, and maybe that glorious pumpkin latte while I’m baking! You amaze me and I am so glad I found you! Your the best my friend.
Oh Lynn, you’re such a sweetheart! Your kind words mean the world to me. I’m so touched that you’ve been baking so many of my recipes — I truly appreciate that! 🙂 I’m really glad you’re enjoying the pumpkin cinnamon rolls so much, and the rest of my pumpkin recipes as well. I always look forward to seeing your pictures on Instagram!
Hey Amy;
Just had to let you know we did a little twist on the cinnamon buns tonight. I made up some of the “icing” from the pumpkin scones and put it on the cinnamon buns for the kids… looks like we are making another batch tomorrow, lol.. Girl you are keeping me busy ( but you know I love it). You make being a mom so much easier!!!
Awww, that means the world to me Lynn! I’m sure you’re already an absolutely amazing mom already! 🙂 I love your idea of using the scones’ icing for the cinnamon rolls — I definitely need to remember that in the future! And I’m SO glad your entire family is enjoying all of the recipes!!
