Nearly 6 ½ years ago, I told one of my best friends that I wanted to cook my way through the alphabet. Each week, I planned to make a dish that started with the next letter of the alphabet as a way to get me out of my cooking rut and try new recipes. “That sounds like the movie Julie & Julia!” she exclaimed. “You should start a blog!”
We met up for dinner this past Friday night, and as we ate and laughed, I reflected on the impact her five words, “You should start a blog!” have had on my life. I followed her suggestion (you can see those alphabet recipes here!), which turned into an addictive hobby, then evolved into a full-time job and a hardback cookbook. And although I’ve put in plenty of hard work over these years, Amy’s Healthy Baking still wouldn’t have become my full-time job and income source without you.

This dream job wouldn’t have become a reality without your interest and support… Without you telling your friends and family about my blog… Without you saving my recipes on Pinterest… Without you trying those recipes and snapping pictures of them to share with me on Instagram… Without you leaving sweet comments here on my blog…
Those small actions have added up and allowed me to leave my previous job to blog full-time. I’m incredibly grateful for what you’ve done for me!
