Although this can generally apply all year, it seems to be especially true during the holiday season.
The hustle and bustle of shopping for gifts, buying something for every aunt and uncle and grandparent and cousin thrice removed… Wrapping those presents in beautiful patterned paper, adorning each with a glittery bow, and shipping them off to every corner of the world… Addressing Christmas cards to friends, relatives, neighbors, teachers, baby-sitters, and coaches… Stringing up twinkling lights inside and out until the entire house shines like the sun… Dashing between holiday parties and cookie exchanges and choir concerts and kids’ school performances…
Our schedules jam-packed with activities, it takes meticulous planning to fit them all in. But when we do that, booking up every minute of every day, how often do we actually pause to soak up the magic of this very moment? How often do we let our heads focus on the thing going on exactly where our feet are, instead of thinking about the next twenty-seven items on our to do lists?
I’m just as guilty as the next girl, especially during the holidays… But right now, this simple moment is the one where I want to thank you.
Yes, YOU!
You’ve enabled me to turn this little corner of the internet into my full-time job and income source. You’ve done that for me, just by sharing Amy’s Healthy Baking with your family and friends, by trying my recipes, and by leaving me sweet comments on my blog and Facebook and Instagram about how much you’ve loved the treats. I’m truly grateful for you!
So to say thank you, I’m putting the spotlight back on you today! Here are some of the recipes that you’ve tried and pictures that you’ve shared on Instagram. I truly appreciate each and every time you do that; it really means the world to me! ♡
And if you’re interested in starting a blog too, I have a super easy step-by-step guide on how you can start your own blog here. It takes less than 30 minutes!
Psst… Would you like to see your picture in my next Sunday Spotlight? Then share it with me on Instagram using #amyshealthybaking and tag @amyshealthybaking IN the photo itself. (That guarantees I’ll see your picture! ?) I can’t wait to see what recipes you make!
I can’t wait to see what you try next! ♡
